We always remember the children when it comes to gift giving during the Holiday time of the year, but we don’t always keep in mind the elders of our community. Paying it forward and blessing others is such a great gift to give this season. I remember visiting my Grandfather when he was in an assisted living facility when I was young. While he was lucky enough to have family close by who visited regularly, some of our elderly are not so lucky. Being able to make their day just a little bit brighter this holiday season is my goal!

I am working with The Fountains Senior Care Center and The Cascades Senior Center in the Reno area. I will be assembling gifts of Arbonne hand lotion and lip balm and an ornament in wrapped gifts and delivering to the retirement home in December. For $22 you can adopt a grandparent, but you are not limited to just one, as there are about 200 seniors to be sponsored.  My family will be adopting several grandparents!

If you would like to participate, please visit https://www.facebook.com/events/1503528006611060/ or you can email me directly at luschyk@yahoo.com.

I can’t say thank you enough for partnering with me in this project, and for giving back to our elderly who are often alone and forgotten during the holiday season. I will be personally delivering the gifts with my family to the retirement home on their Holiday Party! We would welcome you and your family to join us to help deliver the presents, details will be updated with time and date on my Facebook event page.

The deadline for all adoptions in November 30th to ensure delivery on time! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Thank you for your support.
