We Need Your Vote: A Rallying Cry for Reno Moms

Wouldn’t it be cool if we could rally the power of the Reno Moms Blog community to make a positive impact on our area schools?

Think Kindness is a community partner that is near and dear to our hearts here at RMB.  It is a local non-profit run by the charismatic Reno dad, Brian Williams.  The mission of Think Kindness is to inspire measurable acts of kindness. Brian is an amazing speaker, and he has visited many Northern Nevada schools to inspire kids to perform acts of kindness, which is a positive way to stop bullying in its tracks.

Brian has this great idea to create a Kindness Crew within each school that Think Kindness visits, empowering student ambassadors to utilize a kindness curriculum to keep the importance of kindness front and center throughout the school year.

Think Kindness is currently competing for a $10,000 grant from Kind Bar through their Kind Causes program.  If Think Kindness can get the most votes this month, that $10K will go to them, and it will empower this organization to bring a powerful and inspiring kindness program into our area schools, as well as schools across the country.  But I can’t say it as well as Brian himself.  Check it out:

We’d love to use this as a test…  If we can truly get this community to rally around a cause, what if we sponsored a different local non-profit for a Kind Cause grant every month?!  If you take the power of 5,000 moms all investing 5 seconds to vote for something that will bring a lot of positive impact to our own community, can you imagine how AWESOME that would be?!

VOTE NOW, Mommas!
