Every year our goal is to check out a couple new places, while making sure to stop at our favorites:
Rainbow Orchard: THE PLACE FOR HOT APPLE CIDER DONUTS. I promise you won’t be disappointed, they also have a stage area lined with hay bales for jumping, running kiddos.
Abel’s Apple Acres: A favorite because of the unlimited crazy child car jitters reducer, also known as a maze! The biggest challenge is getting them back out. They also offer pony rides, pumpkins, and a crafty faire.
Apple Ridge Farms: Another one we love, it has goats to feed, chickens, a hay bale maze, and a fun walking trail.
There are too many amazing things to list! Check out their website list of fruit growers. Several farms have corn mazes, pumpkin picking straight from the vine, trains for kids, and of course all the apple goodness you could ever need.
One tip I want to offer is: pack a fabulous lunch. We’ve eaten the lunch-type fare at many a farm, but have yet to find something worth the price tag. Plus by bringing a picnic we can spend a bit more money on all the wonderful baked goods.
